Inspirations: The cold

With the cold November rain outside and with an inevitable approach of winter all I can think is how to keep it warm yet stylish. Flipping through the fashion magazines and web-pages of style.com with a cup of hot tea I get the best possible inspiration; and suddenly winter doesn't seem so scary and unwanted.
I hope you get inspired by this post as well!

  14. That brown pelt jacket is sooo cute! :) I definitely want one!! I'm still searching for warm clothes, because I freeze very easily, and I HATE winter!

Everywhere I go, I see people walking around in (kakhi) parkas, and though I'm rather fond of them, I'm already tired of that kind of jackets, so I definitely don't want one.

That lace top and the white skirt (last picture) are dreamlike! I adore lace and tulle, but sadly, I haven't found any clothes. At least, none that are affordable. :/

But thank you for the pictures. You have such a great taste and it's always a pleasure to read your post! :)

  18. Эта осень (и грядущая зима, я надеюсь) - сезон, когда мне впервые в холодное время хочется носить цвета. Раньше я была абсолютно счастлива с моим серым и черным, но тут наконец-то я скупаю жизнерадостные вещи.

  19. hehe, one of the girls on your photos is wearing a light brown fur jacket VERY similar to something I have. nice coincidence :P and I also noticed that jacket with animal and bird prints. that's just so cool. though when it comes to Estonian winter we usually experience -25 or -30 degrees here and have to dress using the warmest pieces. I'm not too happy about it of course but must deal with it anyway :P

  20. Love all your cold weather inspiration, especially the coat with the fur collar--I would love one just like that! I'm already starting to stash away warm clothes for my trip to Europe in January (I'm sure I'll need them!) Hope you're off to a wonderful new week!

  29. Hi dear, thank you for your lovely comment...this is beautiful winter dressing inspiration, love the forest green coat and the floaty white skirt in the last image. Would you say that its easier to be trendy and fashion conscious in colder or warmer months? I prefer dressing for winter, we can layer creatively, add cute scarves, gloves and hats. Would love to hear your thoughts on this :)

    1. Hi dear Sam! Thanks for your sweet (as always) comment. I like dressing up for summers, not too warm ones but let's say around 20-23. You can still layer yet I think there are way more fun options: light skirts, sandals, etc. Fall and winter could be also fun but it gets more difficult when the temperature drops. Here, in the Netherlands it's still bearable, but where I'm originally from (Russia) it could get to -30. So trendy looks are difficult to maintain when it's that cold;)
