My looks: black-n-white


The Oscars’ winner “The Artist” has awoken in me not only my inner flapper girl (which quietly waits for her moment to come) but also admiration to the silent beauty of the black and white world. Although I have already posted some black and white inspiration looks here, I wanted to share with my own take on the classical combination.

  11. I have yet to see "The Artist," though I've been wanting to even before they won for "best picture." I love the 1920s era and the flapper style--the bejeweled dresses, the bob haircuts, etc.

    I like your striped top, is it BCBG? Just curious.

    I really adore the pants! I love the strip of leather going down the side! Where did you get it and for how much, if you don't mind me asking :)

    1. Hey Elvia, thanks for your lovely comment! I usually tag all the clothes brands I wear in the "labels" section of the post. But maybe I should just write them in the end of each post to make it more clear:)
      The top is from Warehouse, it's an English brand.
      And the pants are from Sinequanone, it's a French brand which has an amazing collections of high quality for quite moderate prices. I truly like it! Unfortunately it's pretty hard to find...
